Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel wasn't too bad. The room was in the souterrain with a pool table, a table kicker, and table tennis just one door away. It felt like stepping back to the seventies with unique features like a pole to hang clothes on and a sliding shower door. Despite its basic setup, it was sufficient for my expectations.
The hotel is located right on the seafront, close to nice restaurants. The rooms are clean but need updating. The service is friendly, although there was a slight issue during check-out. The location is convenient with a range of seating options. The dining experience was successful with lovely sea views, but finding restaurants nearby could be a challenge.
The hotel had its ups and downs. I found the rooms to be small, with dirty windows everywhere, and the toilets didn't flush properly. Having to walk up three flights of stairs due to the non-functioning lift was a struggle, especially with my bad hip and blood pressure. On the upside, the rooms were very hot, and the views were limited to a fire exit; overall, it was not a pleasant stay.
